Michelle Perez is a Tri-Cities native and excited to continue investing in this community through Total Care Clinics. She began her journey in healthcare 10 years ago when she became a certified nursing assistant, and cared for vulnerable populations in long term care facilities. This is where her passion for preventative care and improved quality of life began.
Michelle completed her Bachelors of Nursing at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington in 2017. During her years of undergraduate education she ran college track, competing in the hurdles, sprints, and long jump. Her senior year of college she was given the opportunity to study abroad in Taipei, Taiwan where she cared for patients in the cardiac ICU and observed open heart surgeries.
After graduation from Northwest, Michelle spent 3 years working as a labor and delivery nurse, while floating between postpartum and NICU units. After this, she spent an additional 3 years working in the Kadlec Emergency Department.
During this period of time, she began her studies at Gonzaga University to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, and in December of 2022 she graduated with her Masters in Science of Nursing.
Michelle is devoted to helping her patients get to the bottom of their issues and improve the quality of their daily lives. She is passionate about women’s health, preventative care, weight loss management, and sports medicine therapies.
In her free time Michelle enjoys running along the Columbia River, hiking the PNW mountains, skiing, and playing pickleball with her husband.
