Gabe is a Nurse Practitioner at Total Care Clinics specializing in Primary and Urgent Care. He earned his Associates Degree in Nursing at Columbia Basin College in 2001 and has previously worked as an RN in the Emergency Department for 13 years. Working closely with Physicians and Nurse Practitioners encouraged him to continue his education. He went on to earn his Bachelors Degree of Science in Nursing and  graduated with his Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practioner at Washington State University. He has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care and has found Total Care to be a excellent and caring environment.

Gabe was interested in medicine from a young age.  He chose nursing as profession for the opportunity of more direct patient interaction. He found patient care very satisfying and has enjoyed helping people understand how to improve their health.

Gabe became interested in Primary Care while working in the Emergency Department where he encountered many patients without good access to a Primary Care Provider. His goal is to care directly for his patients and help them avoid unnecessary visits to the Emergency Department. This philosophy is mirrored by the team at Total Care and made Gabe a natural fit.

Gabe served in the Washington Army National Guard for 11 years as a Cavalry Scout. He served one tour in Iraq. Serving in the military has further instilled a deep respect for this country and those that serve.

Gabe and his wife Annette have been married for over 20 years and have two wonderful children.  They enjoy camping, dirt bike riding, fishing and hunting.  Gabe also loves kiteboarding when he finds the time. They spend most of their free time keeping up with family and friends.
